I have an OmegaMax Alarm / RS combo, it is made for an automatic trans only. I also have an UltraStart 1250M currently installed in my Ford Ranger w/ manny tranny. The r/s works great and it is made for a manual trans vehicle. Is there any way to use the Omega alarm to activate the the UltraStart R/S, or use the UltraStart to arm & disarm the Omega? What it comes down to is i'm trying to use this combo so I don't have to buy a whole new system. Any ideas appricated!

you should have a negative activation input on the ultrastart......just use a channel of the omega to send the negative signal to the ultrastart..........but this should be cautioned it might bypass the extra security for the manual trans start.

Looks like he's got the UltraStart 1250M that works for manual transmission that he has, but he also got the OmegaMax which he likes better for all its great features but the latter will not work on manual trans. Did I get that wrong?

I was able to get the Omega and UltraStart to work together! It was simply a matter of using the lock/unlock of the UltraStart to disable the Omega. And it still worked with all of the safety measures built into the Ultrastart. Just one minor glitch, when you arm the system it chirps twice and once for disarming, the opposite of the way it should be. Other than that it works perfectly.
