Don't let the terms SQ and SPL lead you to a decision.  You are spending a good deal of money and time to get your system the way you want it.  Rob at forbidden has some good advice for you above...get speakers that sound good when they're LOUD...and with good amps believe us they will be.  The loudness is your SPL.  Save the one-note wonders for the other guys.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Ok thanks alot. What series of Eclipse would be best? I think ive made my mind up on Eclipse. I was leaning in that directing, but i wanted a push over the edge. The subs that i was looking at were 300 watts and had 4 ohm DVC which is a must. I have amps already fro my last system taht iw as happy with and they put out 800x1 @ 4 ohms. I plan on running the 2 subs parallel to get that 4 ohm load. Since each sub is rates at 300, i will be overpowering them, however my amps are more than likely way overrated, they are audiobahn...i like the amps, but i know i wont over power them. Is that amp selection ok? and does eclipse make a sub that would fit my needs? I dont want to spend all the much on one sub, im going for quanity, as you can tell. The guy told me that any 4 12's if they are decent will rattle my car and shake those around me...That comment pleases mefour 12's - Page 2 -- posted image.

Overpowering is an interesting term. Many people overlook the idea of headroom, the amp's ability to produce huge amounts of power in a small short amount of time. If you have a large amp not operating at it's max to keep up, additional power will be available for peaks! Speakers are blown more often from underpowering. When an amp cannot supply the needed power cleanly, sending clipped, distrored waves to the drivers voice coils overheat and fail. Don't be shy putting a larger amp than needed. You can always turn down the gains and increase headroom. If you run clean power you should have few problems. Having plenty of voltage and current available to the amps doesn't hurt either. Remember Caps store energy and make make energy!
As far as the Audiobahn amps, this is a sore subject on this forum. In my opinion, there amps specs are overrated, not underrated. Tests show the amp can't reach the specs give by Audiobahn! Other brands recommended are Zapco, X-tant, Crossfire, TRU, all of which are truly underrated! Good Luck!
