if your useing it for comp. only... do not tune that box to 30hz... that would be stupid . tune it to 55 hz im thinking you have a lot to learn before you jump into this comp. stuff.. first of all you have 2 batt and only 2 15's this puts you with civic's with the same setup .........ie alot less cabin i just did 4 12's in 10 cube ported.. 1250 watts rms total sounds fine... except now im doin 4 re xxx 18's 10000 rms  same vehicle.   as far as an everyday day driver .. "something that you ...WANT to listen to" do 2 15's 2500 watts slot ported 10 cube tuned to 32 hz and call it a day..

ok, first of all, of coarse I have alot to learn about competition setups, that is why I said "I don't know how to do all of this, but I would like to learn". to me, that sounds like I know that I don't know what im doing.

second, staying with 15" Orion H2's, how many would you recommend, how much wattage RMS for each, and what type of box and what size.

I thought this was the purpose of a forum of this type, to ask questions and learn something...

o yeah im not trying to be a "dick" ...sorry... its just u said you wanted to build it for comp.. but tuned at 30 hz... ... its a well known fact. that in-car response at 45-60 hz is gonna be "louder" .............as far as the orion h2's ill have to go to their site to get the parameters .........the rms power...? what ever they say they handle.. is what you give them.. the box.. slot port.. and as big as you can make it.. if you have an "oj" year bronco 93-94-95  then your box will be 49x22x28  ill get those specs and repost

the advertised RMS power handling is 2000w, max is 2500W

also, I have an older (1979) bronco, but the inside is pretty close to being the same as the newer ones I think. The reason I asked about how much power, is because someone said that if I was to put them in a large ported box, then I should not give them as much power as I would if I were to put them in a sealed box.

thats why we use programs to tune the enclosure.. to make sure the sub will not over excurt . also to check for excessive port velosity that sub looks pretty good how much are they? or should i say how much are you getting them for? .........just get 2 of those subs dual 4ohm and 1 of those amps.. your box will be 10 cube below the back window and slot ported ..... tuned to 29 hz if you like low bass if your gonna listen to rock all day long go with a higher tune..38hz

retail, the subs are about $450ea, but I got quoted $575 for both 15's, and the amp retals for around $1500, but I got mine for $600.

Also, if I got the dual 4-ohm ones, that means I would be wiring my amp to 1 ohm(amp is 2500w Max x 1 @ 1 ohm) so, each speaker would only be getting about 1250w max, would that be enough?

I just want to get this right the first time.
