First off i would like to say hello. I have been reading this forum for about 2 weeks, trying to figure out if i wanted to sell my viper690xv for a compustar. I decided to keep the viper since I had warranty on it. OK, now here is the situation. I got the viper from circuit city and about a month later, I was having problems with it so I decided to send it back to viper, and upon removal, I noticed that these guys did not solder anything!. Not event the constant 12v or the wire going to the starter. Also, the kept the antenna under the dash and used wire splices. After seing this crappy job, I decied I wanted to install it myself. I took everything out, from the brain to the harnesses. I sent everything back in. When i recieved it, I installed it myself (i was hesitant but this board made me feel more confidant), but realized I didnt have the door lock relay. Well I jsut bought it and have been trying to read up on this, but it is way to confuzing for me. can anyone help me out? When i disconnected it, I thought there were less wires. this one has 3 wires to the brain, and five out. Does anyone know what to do with those five?

Why use the 451M? It is not neccesary on your vehicle.

The 451m is pointless in your car. The blue unlock wire from the 690 goes to the lt. green unlock wire in the car. The green lock wire from the 690 goes to the purple lock wire in the car.
