I'll try this again.  I installed my viper 560xv on my 96 yukon and everything works great except for the RS.  I posted up before, https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=33109&KW=yukon+remote+start but never really got anywhere so I'll try again.  I don't have the neutral safety switch, hood pin, or brake wires connected.  ( I got sick of messing with them)  Any help will be appreciated.

I had the neutral safety grounded and the brake switch hooked up but not the hood switch and it does nothing.  wouldn't the hood switch only be triggered if the wire was powered, (when the hood opens and the metal of the pin touch each other) or am I backwards?

You dont need the hood pin, but need te neutral safty switch. the brake wire is used after u put your key in so it turns off the rs, well as long as you key is in the on posistion.
But should hook up the hood pin, for safty reason say you are working on your car. plus your hood is also armed. the netural switch is also for safty reason, its your car so you do what u want.

The only reason I didn't connect them is because I couldn't get the RS to work. I'd like to connect EVERYTHING.  It will crank up if I ground the trigger wire from the relay, but it won't do anything with the remote(s).

The alarm is fine, the first time I tried the remote start the lights came on and it cranked for a split second then nothing and all guage lights went off.  Now when I press the RS button I get nothing.  Remotes work alarm perfect.
