The diagrams that you can get here and from alarm companies are incorrect for my Explorer. Don't know if it's because it is a limited or not? The charts say the door trigger should be the BLACK/ blue wire. That is the courtesy lamp circuit. There are four seperate door trigger wires that go into the GEM module. Then one wire goes to the RAP(factory alarm). Think I found the one wire but it doesn't seem to switch polarity or do much. Light blue/white wire. I know I could tap all four door trigger wires but I'm wondering if there is an easier way?

Thanks!

But I'm pretty sure the dome light will come on when you lock the doors sometimes. I know I've locked it and seen the dome light on and wondered if it was going to turn off. Maybe that courtesy light circuit is only on when the doors are open? Need to stare at my wiring diagrams some more..!
