i am planning on making a grill  for my sub out of florescent acrylic and using leds to light it up.

will a uv led light up the acrylic better?

i know i want to run a wire from the ignition to a switch to a relay, from the relay, i will wire the leds (i am thinking 4 at the moment).  i think that is what i need to do, don't know how to do this.

  • where to get relay, and switch?
  • what gage wires?
  • should i fuse, if so how many amps?
  • are resistor or anything else used.

also, on the box, i want to be able to plug unplug the grill(i mean the leds from the power)
