ravendarat,dont know because it seemed that the speaker could not handle the power,so i hooked it from on negative to positive then power to other positve then ground to other ground

That is how you wire in 12 ohms and that should make that amp produce practically no power. I think I would get that whole deal checked out because it seems like there is something wrong there

Wire the amp like a regular stereo amp.  This should give you approximately 150 watts per voice coil.  In order to keep the coils in sync. get yourself a RCA splitter and split the signal from the right/left channel of the pre-amp/radio RCA's to the amplifier.  If you don't want to do this you can always wire your sub down to 3ohms and run it off of the left/right side of the amp.
