Any ideas for the best mounting location for radar unit in Wrangler?  It has a steel console and I know it wont work well under it.  The car also has a steel overhead stereo console...

The stereo has been removed from the dash and that area is enpty.  Will it cover to the rear of the vehicle if it is in that location?

are the doors soft????? or do you have the half doors????
those types of sensors have lots of problems (false alarms)
i would think about trying something else....

It has 1/2 doors...

What other options are there?

What other opinions are out there?

Still looking fror help on this.  My Wrangler has 1/2 doors, steel console, steel stereo overhead console, but stereo has been removed from dash.  Will the old stereo location work, or should I risk justy hanging it on the bottom of the overhead unit?

try a chain wrapped around the bag...............

with a very large rabid dog on the other end!!!.. ummmm, make sure you connect the chain to the jeep so he doesnt drag away the clubs chasing the would be thief down the road!!

sorry for the jokes.. i agree, proximity sensors suck!! suggest alarm with shock sensor turned up kinda high..(not so high that birds landing on the rollbar wud set it off).. and strap the club bag down somehow!
