I have a Blaupunkt Las Vegas reciever and infinity reference component speakers which work great. I bought an Alpine MRV-F302 amplifier off Ebay that was still factory sealed.

The problem I'm having is after hooking up the amplifier I'm barely getting any sound out the speakers.  I checked and double checked the connections and checked voltage and it's 12+ volts at the power and amp turn-on terminals. The ground should be good although I don't really know how to check it.

I tried everything I know.

Please help!!!

I'm pretty sure I have the speakers hooled up right. I'm using channels 1 and 2 and have them wired to my crossovers. I only have one set of components in my truck. I tried bridging the amp also but still not much sound.

Did you set the gain control correctly? Are the speakers wired in phase? Do you have the filter set on high pass or low pass?

I feel like an idiot. I had the reciever fader set all the way to the front. I readjusted it and it fixed the problem. Thanks for all the replies.
