We are doing a BMW X5 2002 and would like to know how to set up the parking lights to work with the alarm.  Directechs.com and Installogy both say that it's a black wire on the switch harness.  Then they say to hook it up with a relay.  How do we go about doing this and how should the relay be set up.  Thanks in advance.

It's kinda like doing a starter kill but for the light wire, as soon as you cut that black wire, the parklights will come on....so.....
Relay.
85- parklight output from alarm (lets assume positive)
86- ground
30- black wire, car side
87a- black wire switch side.

Thanks a lot for your help.  I'll  see what the installer did and give him your suggestion.
