How would i go about redoing my cars seats ? Does ne one have a clue or good site to go to to find out about it ?

Although that site was cool, it was not really what i was looking for. I'm talking about personally redoing them, hah, with the help of my freinds mom, she's great at sewing and stuff.

pull the current covers off to use as a pattern, have the new ones sewed, and install them with hog rings like the originals came off

I have two sets of leather interior seats for a MK4 gti...any interest??

Possibly, i have a 1999.5 Jetta. You say you have two sets ? so like 4 buckets ? or just two. What color are they ?

that's those clips that hold the cover to the seat bottom

What holds the cover down at the seams to the top of the seat. It seems as if at some of the seams where the seats contour edges are that the cloth is held down to the foam.

there are rods about the size of a coathanger holding them down in the center of the seat.
