can i connect an aux output from a viper alarm to a relay, and using the same place that wire goes on the relay, connect an acc wire, w/o doing any damage?  what will happen is....sometimes i may use the aux output to start an inverter via remote, but I want it always on when i start the car, which is why i want the acc wire hooked up to it.   so, can i hook up 2 wires that control the relay w/o messing anything up?

I think this is what you are asking for, you want an inverter to turn on when ever the ignition is on and you want to be able to turn it on with the remote as well when the ign is off.
Pin 85 (-) acc output, 86 constant +12V, 30 output to inverter, 87A ign or acc wire from car, 87 constant +12V.
This will allow the inverter to turn on with the ign and allow you to turn the inverter on with the remote even when the ign is off. You will also need to take into consideration what type of output your alarm has, pulse or latched.

Auex, yep that is what I want to do.  My current setup now is...

Pin 85 Aux Chan 4 Wire, 86 12V + Constant, 87 12V+ to inverter, 30 12V+ Constant

You said 87A and 87, but no 85, do I have a wrong relay?  Right now with the current setup it does let me control it with my remote. My aux channel 4 is set to latched, reset with ignition, so it will stay on until I turn on and off my ignition. Do i just want to set that to latched, and will my acc wire shut it off? Or will the aux channel over power the acc wire? Also what happens if I use the remote to turn it on, then get in my car and start it while the inverter is already on. Will that fry something, or shut off the inverter? If it is set to Latched only, and I use the remote to turn it on, then start my car, and turn it off, will the inverter turn off when I turn the igntion off, or will I have to press the buttons on my remote for aux chan 4 again to shut it back off?

Thanks for the help

Your relay should look like this.

The one thing I am not taking into account is the way you are turning the inverter on with the key. You should have a relay set up for this as well.
As far as turning the relay off, it depends on the alarm. I know on dei you can program the output to be latched with ignition reset, alarm will turn the relay off when the ignition is activated. So if that is how your alarm is set up then you are set.
If you wire the relay the way I said earlier I don't see any complications that would put your inverter in harm.

Okay sounds good, so the way you said to wire up the relay earlier will allow me to turn the inverter on by turning the key or using my remote, just using 1 relay then, right? And I have a Viper 791xv, so I'll keep that setup as latched with ignition reset, that way it will go off no matter how I started it when I take the key out. If you need more details on this, what is being done is, the inverter powers my xbox, and I use it as a media center, with all my music on it, so I need it to be on everytime I start the car, and to shut off everytime I leave the car, and I also have the remote hooked up to it, so I can start it from my house, ftp to the xbox and update my music and whatnot. Im not sure if that info will change anything, but just in case.

Thanks Again

just a quick question on the dei 530t, i have 4 windows that i want to auto roll up when i arm, and let me open all of them when I press a certain button.

will i be able to hook both modules up to the same aux channel, so I just press the button 1 time and it will roll down all 4 windows? and when I arm, it automatically rolls up all 4 windows?  to do that on the same aux channel, can I simply splice the aux chan wire coming from the viper 791xv brains, and hook it up to each module?

Thanks

It should work, try it. If it doesn't then just get a relay.

No. The 530t only has enough output to do 2 windows. Plus if you jumped say the two left windows together, you could hit the front left and both left would go down. Live with two, or buy another module.

By you using the term "both modules" I assume you have 2 window modules. If not then you will need two.

Yeah, I meant having 2 modules.

One last thing I believe, I am installing 2- 530T modules into a 01 Dodge Stratus, that has 1 - 2 stage shock sensor, am I going to need the 610T to bypass the sensor so I dont set off the alarm if I want to vent or open the windows completly via remote with the system is armed? Or is the 610T needed more for other type sensor bypassing, in this case.
