2000 bonneville, stereo, noise

I'm installing a kenwood 4042 eq and two fosgate amps one 500a2 and a 400a4 using the factory stereo with a pac high/low converter, other than the loud hissing when the stereos off or on and the annoying engine noise the stereo also has a door bell chime thing going on and i need to know 1. how to get rid of the hissing 2.the chimes and 3. the good old engine noise help me out please this install is killing me

Where did you grab the input signal from for the converter ? Did you ground the converter ?
