I would recommend a box a little larger than the .63 cubic ft.  Since, you are using the specs to tune the box I would go a little larger because the .63 would limit your bass.  Also, after building 4 different sealed enclosuers for MTX's the larger boxes normally go deeper and are more detailed when coming to lower bass notes.

I would say go with about .88 cubic ft.  You can fill the current box that you have that should give you a little more bass.  If you want to get into deep ground shaking tones build a 1 cub box and you will definitely feel the bass.

For the 9500 I would go exactly with the specs that the web site has listed.  These subs are made to really pound and to go up against some good competition.  Taking this info. in hand MTX has tested these subs to really try to out do there comp.

If you go with a box a little bigger than they recomend you will be ok.  The MTX boxes are normally built for somewhat stiff bass notes..

OK guy's, here are the calculations for the box. 28"wide x 13" deep x 12" height .  - the 3/4" divider and that should be pretty close to .88 Cubic ft.

Ok, actual Cubic ft. will be .8647 per side.
