I'm installing  a Viper 550 into my truck and I need to bypass the clutch.  I had it set up before so the clutch was bypassed all the time but I wanted to change it.  I was reading through the manual, and it seems like I could use the "(-) 200 mA Status/Factory Alarm Rearm wire to activate a relay which could bypass the clutch.  My question is would the - output from that wire be sent out to the relay in time to have it activated before the starter was actually engaged?  Thanks in advance for your help.

yes it will be in time, youll need a relay to properly send a signal to the clutch wire.

Hm, that's what I was also told, that I need a relay... I bypassed my clutch with directly connecting that wire to the clutch wire...if that's not enough, the same wire triggers my bypass module, at the same time. No relay needed.
