just for those who didn't know (xtreameaudio & diabloscope) GM introduced that system into some of it's vehicles in the late '90's. now pretty much all of them have it. the radio stays on after you turn the vehicle off until you open a door. however it only has on +12v wire going to the radio that just changes "data"on the wire to turn the radio on/off.

Really?

Would applying power to the accessory wire on the steering column keep the radio & factory DVD player on without the key?

This is so my kids can continue to watch / listen to the entertainment system.

I was planning on installing a 2 hr time delay to keep the equipment on until the time passes or I switch the power to the ACCY wire off.

DanDan or anyone that knows... Which wire on the BCM mod is a wire that can be used as a ACC or RAP wire? I probed a little on it and found a wire which at the time acted like the RAP wire, turns out its that headlight signal wire. (So now my amp and EQ only work at night... wah wah wwaahhhhh Ha Ha)
Any help would be great!!
