im currently installing the mannix car alarm system. I've got the immoboliser, central locking, shock sensor, speaker and led wired up now. But im having difficulty finding an easy wire source for the door triggers. finding the door trigger wire? -- posted image.
I dont fancy running wires straight to the door triggers, as im sure one of the wires behind the glove box is the right one. finding the door trigger wire? -- posted image.
my cars a 1995 e36 coupe, without factory alarm.
Anyone know the door trigger wire colour and where to find it ( or the wire colour of the dome lights + easy access location)
Any suggestions much appreciated!

Here's some wires you might want to look for not sure how accurate this is:
Door Trigger: BROWN / Red (-) Drivers rear side pillar
Door Trigger: RED / Blue (+) Module behind glovebox
Usually you can find the factory alarm plug behind the glovebox, which should have all your seperate door triggers along with a domelight wire from what I remember. I think the domelights are usually in pin #1 of the factory alarm plug. Haven't done an alarm on a bmw in a while though so I may be off. As always information given is at your own risk! Feel free to correct any incorrect information!
