Wiring in parallel means that you will be using both coils and that the sub would be presenting a 2 ohm load. If you choose to wire one coil only, it is not a series or parallel connection. You can use only one connection, however, like I saif this would present a 4 ohm load to the bridged output of your amp. If the amp is making say 500w rms minimum into a 4 ohm load and your dual 4 ohm sub can handle this power when shared between both voice coils, you will infact be presenting a 100% increase in power to the one voice coil. Wire it like I showed you and do not think that the most watts possible will make it sound the loudest. It is more about the box than it will ever be about the amp.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Would a Rockford Fosgate 501db Amp be a better setup? Its rated at 500w @ 2ohm. Like i said earlier, I had them hooked up to a 1 ohm stable amp and only pushed out 300 watts and mayn.. there was such a big difference. Does the Impendance has a big part on that?
