I ordered mine approx. 5 months ago and it finally came in yesterday. I was a sucker. It sounded good on TV but it sucks!! And trust me after using it to solder for a couple of minutes you can not touch the tip. The tip does cool down much faster than a regular soldering iron but you cant immedatly touch it as they show. It solders ok on 28AWG wire but any larger forget it! Stay with the gas or electric.

MECP certified (If it really means anything)

I was just happy to have had the opportunity to see and use it first. Otherwise I would have been another sucker, who got scammed.
If they are able to improve upon the item in the future, it may very well have alot of potential.
As it stands now, it is simply a gimmick with no *real* world applications for the serious professional.
