I am installing the Viper 791 alarm with the DEI 55C bypass module in a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I am not sure which wire the blue wire from the 555C to connects to with the 791.  The directions say to connect it to the (-) through activation output of the remote start system, but which wire is that?

On the XRCS (relay satellite thing) there is a 4 wire plug next to the ribbon satellite harness. This 4 wire plug has a blue, pink, purple, and orange wire in it. The blue wire is the -status/ground when running output that you will need to connect to the blue wire on your 555C.

I am trying to find the neutral safety wire in a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited, can someone direct me to it?

For a bonus question, I am putting in a Viper 791 and I am using the DEI interface for the door locks but when I lock the doors I am getting the horn as well as the chirp letting me know that the alarm has been activated.  Does anyone know how to eliminate the horn or tell me what I might of done wrong?

Regarding the horn honk go to the overhead console and go through the menu options and turn the horn off.  I have a JGC that doesn't have the factory alarm so I don't know if this will be the same or not but it lets you select if you want the horn to honk when locking and unlocking the doors with the factory keyless entry.  Give that a try and let me know.

That was a verry simple solution for the horn honk thanks.

As for the neutral saftey wire I am still  coming up with nothing.  I do not find a BROWN / yellow at the switch.  What else do you have that might get me there.

Just ground the wire.  That will solve the issue.
