Do thieves have the time to open hood to find relays? Is a hood lock effective?

Is there anywhere to put relays where thief can't access? eg inside starter motor unit. I want to interrupt the starter wire and fuel wire.

Try getting some wire the gauge are your starter wires. Then solder the new wires in with the starter wire. With the new wires, extend and cut it to the length you desired. Then place the relay anywhere you want, and like draasch said, hide your wires well, and try to make everything look factory. Just an idea...

Wait I'll take a picture of where I usually hide them and then email it to you including my address...sound good? Just being a smart ass. Just do like everyone said, just get creative and have some fun with it. You'll end up surprising yourself, i have many a time. =)
