On your Remote:

When you press Trunk Release:
How long to you hold button down?

Some alars require you to hold button down for 2 to 3 seconds to open trunk

Have you checked to see if you get 200 to 500 MA from the Modules Trunk wire?

Hi,

I have this relay:

86 - 87 ------------------ to a +12 volts source

85 - It  always +12V
30 - It  Always 0V

I want  this relay for trunk release which is:

The 85 connect to (-) 200mA trunk release

The 30 connect to trunk wire WHITE/ BLACK of the 91 Legend Positive Sys.

I am reading your post and it looks kinda funny to me. You say at first you have your 85 going 12v+ then later you say it is set up as your -200 ma trunk trigger
I could be reading it wrong but this is how the relay should be setup
85 12v+ constant
86 -200ma trunk in from alarm
87 to trunk
30 12v+ constant
Again if it is setup like this please forgive me for not seeing it

are you saying the trunk wire as in the trunk wire going to the solenoid in the trunk? or the trunk wire that comes off of the module.
If it is the one coming off of the module, then you have something wired up wrong.
If it is the line coming off of the relay going to the trunk you either have a bad solenoid in the trunk or the wrong wire hooked up to it. make sure it is the correct wire.

SPDT Relays have Armature attached to Pin 30 with a flexable joint.  It is, and since I have been installing,  best to use Pin 87 as the Input for Voltage.

I am sure there are more WHITE/ Black wires also.........
You need to make sure this is the correct wire, That is why it is best to go to switch as posted earlier
