Hey Everyone,

I am looking for some alternate finnishing ideas for my trunk install. I was planning on painting, color matched to the exterior etc...but I am getting tired of sanding and want to know what my options are here are the options I know of:

Paint: Lots of Sanding left to do:(

Vinyl/Carpet: Dunno how feasable this is with my scenario, many complex curves, angles etc...how easy does this stuff stretch?!

Flock?: I have just read a couple posts about this stuff. I don't know what it would it *flocking* look like if used in my particular install.<<Pics of other flock installs would be great...do you have to have a paintable finish for this too look good? or does it hide imperfections?

any other finnishing methods?

here is a pic of the work I have done thus far:

thanks for your help in advance

I would stick with paint, the flock will quickly wear off and it too can show imperfections, keep on sanding, it will be well worth it for the look and finish of paint. Once you get it blocked down close you can use Slick Sand to help identify areas that need further work, however slick sand also contains a light filler and can help fill in a lot of pinholes and such.
