Well, I do seem to have another problem with my ProStart CT-3300. I can?t reset it.

The instructions say to ?Flash? the hood pin and then step on the brake pedal 6 times within 10 seconds. The parklights should then flash 8 times to confirm reset. This is not working.

Can I reset the unit by just unplugging the wiring harness?

Try disconnecting the main harness. Aside from this, ProStart's are crap. I had the same problem with 3 units a couple of winter's ago and I had to get the customer's to return the CPU's to Canadian Tire.
