Anyone got any ideas, it sounds like its out of phase i have no possible clue what is going on here, there has to be a way!

Like everyone said before, it's cancellation.  Try this to test...play just the 12s with the 10s unhooked.  Then vise versa.  If each way sounds good and loud without the other pair hooked up, you know it's cancellation.  If so, scratch the project.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

If that is the case (THe one that stevdart said) try putting the sub on a crossover so that the 12s see the lowe bass notes (say 18hz to 50hz) the so the 10s see the rest of the bass notes (overlap a little so 45hz to 120hz)
