I contacted the company, they said they don't carry that model and cannot help-going to have to find someone that has them figured out or has the manual. The market is flooded with these things for sale, all w/out manuals......

PS It seems to me that a little logic and some bench testing could solve this mystery.Generally your red and black are your 12v + and -,yellow is generally the ignition, the others are giong to be ignition 1,2,and possibly 3.Do a little experimenting on the bench, should be able to figure it out.Wire in your black and red, check the other functions by using the remote and a meter.......

Hello all!!  I am a new member to the12volt.com, and I am happy to come bearing gifts!  LOL   I have information on the Sunbird DG-003 remote starter that so many of us have unwittingly purchased without directions or even a way to contact the manufacturer.  Lead routing is as follows:

main harness-

Solid Black--Chassis ground

Solid Red-- Battery (+12v constant)

Solid Blue-- Ignition #1 (Engine ECU, fuel pump, coil)

Blue/White Stripe-- Ignition #2

Solid Green-- Accessory

Solid Yellow-- Start #1 (Starter solenoid)

RED / Yellow Stripe-- Start #2

20 ga. black--antenna

Hope this helps......... and good luck.  The plug will most likely have to be cut off, unless you can find a male end at Radio Shack or another electronics store...personally I intend to simply hard wire the system into my van.

                                            Good luck,    Christopher

Joe,

I dismantled the brain, and the connects were actually labeled on the printed board.  Being a skeptic by nature, I got out the meter, power supply, and light bulbs and tested the connects for accuracy, and presto!

Thanks, Christopher. Doing the test meter/light bulb thing was something I intended to to "when I have time", so I'm glad you did it. You have helped many people. Thanks again!

Remostart.com never made the sunbird DG-003 remote starter as suggested, hence their database doesn't carry the installation manual for this remote starter.
