can anyone tell me where to get to the ignition harness on a 2002 Chevy silverado?  If you have to take off the steering column cover do you know how to remove it?  Can the ignition wires and passlock II wires be found in the BCM anywhere?  Thanks for any information

Ryan

gotta pull the steering colum cover...there's a few screws in there...can't remember if they're Phillps or 7mm bolts..so have both....you might also have to take some of the bezels off the dash...I can't picture it right now... ( to velocity motors..yup the Jesters drinking..LOL... ) j/k tired as heck..been up for 3 days....It's fairly easy to do...jsut study the dash and steering colum....

If you're doing an alarm with remote start..which would be the only reason I can think of right now that's you'd need the Passlock wires...Use the DEI 555L interface module...it's self learning and re-learns every time you start teh car with the key...Makes life really easy...or you could use the DEI 555U...bad side is it totally disables the Passlock Systems....

It's really easy man...jsut take your time..if you're unsure about the removal of the steering colum...ask you local shop....

Good luck
