Is there a way to get thr trunk on a 01' altima to pop thru aftermarket remote . I am installing a DTI alarm/rs and want to connect my trunk.

I can pop my trunk thru my factory but I have a a manual lever as well.

 Any help is great .....

so long as you have the (-)from the bcm. usually it is the RED / black and if the switch is on the drivers door you will need to run your own wires into the door. you can get the factory alarm to arm/disarm,re-arm,as well as lock, and un-lock the doors,as long as you go directly to the factory window and lock switches. if you use a long enough pulse on the lock wire you can also automatically have the windows roll up and vice/versa on the un-lock.

have to tried going directly to the trunk motor? you might be able to do 5 wire trunk release, but make sure when you try that, you use a fuse holder, if it's not 5 wire it may feedback to the module......(may be an expensive fix)otherwise just install a trunk release solonoid.
