I already have several spare relays mounted in a neat little box and do not want to use the relay Satelite. So, if I cut the 7-wire ribbon cable and use purple wire for my new starter relay and the ORANGE / black for a relay to interrupt the starter circuit, will that work?

Personnally, I would use the set up that came with the alarm,  but if you have the time to troubleshoot potential problems, go for it.

791 has built in starter kill/ antigrind on it, You just cut the starter wire and hook up the heavy gauge satalie relay pack to the starter side and the heavy gauge green wire to the key side of the starter wire. All done

The Org on the primary harness is also a gnd when armed lead.  You could use either.  And yes you could use the purp to the relay pack to trigger a starter relay.

Thanks for the info. I have limited space in this little control box so the bulky relay satelite and wiring harness is just too much.  Thanks again.
