Hi peps, i have a '00 Daewoo Lanos that is in the process of being transformed. It has a Pioneer DEH-P7650MP deck, 400W 5 way 6x9's, the new kevlar TS-C160R 6 " Components, a Rockford Fosgate P800.4 amp (hopefully), a set of TS-E1695 3way speakers. What i have heard from a few mates is that the alternator may take a bit of a flogging. Does anyone know anything that may give me a heads up on whether it will be a problem, and if so wat can be done to recitfy it without having to replace the alternator?

Cheers,

Do you know what size alternator it is? I dont think it will be a problem, but if you notice your lights dimming down a lot, or the battery gauge drops down really low when the car is at idle, then you know you need a bigger alternator. And that is really the only way to fix the problem...a bigger alt.
