im trying to hook up my dome light to alarm's negative interior light wire. will this 12v+ going to the brain fry it? Or will this diagram even work all together even work at all? can any one give me any tips or diagrams.

why would you put 12v to the alarm, why not just hook up a relay?

thats what im trying to do is hook up a relay. from the alarms (-) output to a relay, to the dome light.  the diagram of the relay is on the link can some one please have a look and lend a helping hand?

will the 12v+ going thru the coil to the alarm fry the alarm's brain?

the (-) trigger input is't from the door. it's from the brain of the alarm sending a (-) tirgger out put for 30 to 60 seconds after alarm is disarmed. will the 12v+  coming from the contant damage the brain?
