Hey Dyohn, I found the Magnat site and I almost fell off my chair laughing, they have a make of subs called "Aggressor 5000 Death Match" they're a german company. They sound like nazis too. j/k!
There stuff looks pretty nice, but I've not heard they're products although the bulldog logo looks somehow familiar. Have you heard them yourself?
What's that flippie??

Yep, I have tested them and I actually own one of the "Deathmatch 5000" subs (and one of their older home theatre sub systems.)  Magnat is a highly recomended SQ speaker company... even the Deathmatch, which is their all-out SPL sub.  This 20" monster almost caused me to lose my lunch it hit me in the gut so hard.  And it handled my 5KW test amp signal at 50Hz all day long with no signs of fatigue or overload, with a measured free-air response down to 18Hz.  Nice stuff.  Relatively expensive.  Not in the same league with Seas or Linn or B&O, but a definate competitor in the EU and UK.

I don't want to start a long thread in a thread but hey.. it happens!
I like Linn SQ and owned 2 whole systems but was VERY unimpressed with its ability to play at volume, it cut out after about 20 minutes. I had to stick desk fans on all the amps at my parties. Much happier with a pair of eggs for general listening and dancing in front of. As for B&O I can't put my finger on it. There is something that has never appealed to me. I would hope everyone would agree with me that most BOSE equiptment is bad. But these are just my opinions of course. I currently own Infinity Prelude MTS for home listening and its okay but STILL not up to my definition of perfect. The search continues...
