someone pls help....1st timer...

vehicle- 01 chevy silverado...i'm installing a delta pro2k combo alarm w/ remote starter...my truck has a passlock 2 immobilizer system...how do i connect my unit to a DEI 555L...the pro 2k installation guide state that the orange (armed & start output) connect to a 30 amp relay for starter kill output. Does the 555L handle the relay or do i need both?...Sorry if q is unclear, but i'm confuseddelta pro2k combo -- posted image....also, can i connect to my factory alarm disarm thru the BCM...if yes, whaat is the pin location

  • FCTRY ALRM DISARM              lt.green            | -  |drivers kick
  • Also found in the purple plug of the BCM
  • The BCM is located behind the drivers side of the dash. The plugs on the BCM face towards the rear of the vehicle.
  • You need to hook up the STARTER DISABLE wire ( ORANGE ) on the Pro2K to a 30/40 amp relay like this diagram: https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page2.asp#sk1
  • Make sure that when you attach the starter wire for the Pro2K it's attached on the motor side of the relay, not the keyside (  ignition side ) of the relay

-vehicle starts w hood open or close.....do i need to install a trigger pin?.........

Yes, you need to install a hood pin switch or a mercury switch . Connect this to the HOOD / TRUNK wire on the Delta 2000.
