I'm using the H1/1 orange wire to activate a relay that needs to stay de-energized when it is disarmed and in remote start mode. Currently the orange wire gives an output when I go to remote start, but the remote continues to display "Disarmed" Can this be changed? I have a Bitwriter. Or, is there another output that comes on "ONLY" in the "armed" state and off at other times??

Thanks,

David

For no apparent reason the blue LED was on constantly. I couldn't seem to get any response, so with the Bitwriter I did the ZAP thing. The LED went out but I'm not sure how to re-Learn the transmitter. According to the manual, the valet button should be used. But I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I sure could use any suggestions you guys could give me.

Thanks: David

I have some of the buttons working now, but the LED stays on. What;s up with that?

Thanks, David

open the door, turn the ignition on then off and press the valet button ONCE and you will be out of valet mode.  repeat the steps to go back into valet mode.

Turn "anti-grind" off in programming and the orange wire will function as you want it.
You realize you don't want to energize a relay the whole time the alarm is armed. It will kill your battery. What is its function? and how are you intending to wire it?
