I have 2 of the awis-15 audiobahn immortals, and they are very SPL-based in the response, much like a DD9515. I've been told that the two subs are very similar b/c audiobahn ripped off the moto design. But anyhow, other people say the immortals suck just because audiobahn doesn't make anything good.  Whatever, all I want is good sound for no money. Isn't that typical...lol. Everyone says "Get a brahma and an xxx" but I have no money. I want something to take like 1200 RMS but not be $400 a sub, you know? I've heard about the Db Drive Platinum subs, and I ran the t/s through WinISD Pro, and it says that tehy will perform similar to the xxxs or brahmas. Although, it won't move nearly as much :(. But I have room for about 5 cu. ft. per sub, so I want 15s, and the PL15D4s would be perfect. They are veryvery inexpensive too, but that almost makes me worry. You can pick up these things from millionbuy.com for like $150, and the immortals on there are like $550. That makes me wonder. Makes me think I should stick with what I got. I've heard the dB Drives are LOUD, and I've personally heard the 12s, and WOW. But, I want to ask people with knowledge... you know. Or 15s that'll do like 1200 all day long without giveing me a problem that are like $200-275 a piece shipped.  3 12s or whatever would work... just good noise, I said 15s because 2 15s are usually cheaper than 3 12s. Let me know. Thanks!

These would do you pretty well and two of them could handle 1200 watts rms: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-CBLu0RmfzO7/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=67800&I=2062S15L52 (they come in dual 4 ohm also).

Tempest hits really good and they arent over 200 a sub.  They also have plans for free on a loaded horn box.  One of those is all you'd need.

I need quality equipment, feel free to donate.

Hmm, 4 may work then if I can get them cheap off ebay or something. But I ment more or less 1200 a piece. How would these 15" L5s sound as far as being able to play low?

Will the tempest take 1200 RMS? It says 750, but I've heard that they are lying, and underrated like crazy. If it'd take it that'd be great. Or... Will It get louder than what I've got. That's the overall goal I guess... Louder or same output and lower without going over the price of mine.
