Trying to measure the resistance on the key, and i am not getting anything off the key??? Any tricks to getting the resistance from the key to put the proper resistor in the kit??

why do you need the resistince from the key also what make and year is the car you you are working on

i need the resistance from the key to match it with a resistor from the 652t resistor pack, It is going into a 2001 buick regal

anyone, or is the resistor in the key switch?

if so how do i measure it there? Thanks I hate alarms but I have to get into installing them soon or else I just wont make it

The vehicle has a Passock II system in it. The resistance is in the cylinder and there will be a yellow wire that is the resistance wire that you need to get to. Personally I would just use the PLXR for this. It's way easier and less time involved in bypassing this vehicle. I did one not too long ago and the PLXR worked awesome.
