Hi,
After I install the starter into this car. Everything working: Start, Lock/Unlock. The problem is: Can't shift. Does matter what I try. Using key, using factory remote to lock/unlock, remove starter module fuse, reset car battery. Still can't shift.
For the Power lock/ unlock wire, I opened the driver side switch to get the wire not using the one in wiring database
My starter module is the first basic one(AS-1414SR) in this webpage:

Make sure that your getting 12 volts on the brake wire as bobk suggests. Test with a DMM

This may be obvious but check all your fuses. I know on the brand new camry's there is a 5A fuse that blows occasionally for whatever reason, even if nothing is installed in the car. This 5A fuse controls the actuator that unlocks the shifter.
