Suggestions? All of that is confusing to me considering im a newbie.. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you just want to be told what to do then run it at 2-ohms. It will push a few hundred watts to each sub and it will be plently loud. If you're trying to compete or somehow feel you actually need 3000watts - which is an insane amount of power - then be prepared to spend money on decent brands.

Is an example of an amp that can actually put out around 2000watts. It is $1500. JBL is not known as an expensive brand. Boss is known as a very cheap brand that is less than honest with its ratings. Whatever you paid you were ripped off in my opinion.
