Is this a good brand?

would a Phoenix Gold Octane-R 5.0:4 amp push a pair of Ifinity 6000cs components well?

Yes, a good brand.  Even the Octane line, which is the mass market line of the bunch, is rated properly.  The RMS of the components should equal or be more than the per channel output of the amplifier at 4 ohms, so just read the specs.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

so 50w x 4 @ 4 ohms is enough to push a 90w rms component set?

That will just be 50 watts to each side, so a bit more power should be the way to go, and with a two-channel amp.  A 50W X 4 four channel amp would run a set of 50 RMS components or coaxials, and a pair for the rear.  Try to match RMS as closely as you can, and be sure to go no lower than 4 ohms impedance to the components.  That is, don't try to run a pair of components with a four channel amp by bridging because the sound quality will suffer.

can you have the amp give more RMS than the speaker is? Like can i have 100w RMS @ 4ohms from the amp going to a 90W RMS speaker?

and one last thing, what do you think about Visonik subs?

Yes, absolutely fine for the first question, because that is very close.  Stay away from that crap sub, it's not a real subwoofer, it's just a name that sounds like a real subwoofer.  Read through a bunch of these threads here and soon you will have a good idea of good sub brands.

And you must not have read my sig line........

I'm going to have to swim upstream here and say that PG sucks. They seem to blow up pretty often.
