can you post where you hooked up every wire on the starter kill, and also make sure that you have saughtered all the wires around the starter kill, so that everything has contact.

hey sorry its me again but anyways i was wondering if the dei viper 791 comes with a starter kill built into that new little relay pack they got cause i am not sure if it does because today i fixed the problem i had with the car not starting with the key i hooked up the green wire to the key side and the purple wire to the starter side and then it worked fine but i tried out the starter kill and not workin so i am not sure if it has one or not

also there is another wire from the alarm brain  an orange wire which says its an armed output for optional starter kill relay would that get connect to any acc wire in that vehicle

cause when i hook that up to an acc wire in the vehicle the car wont start wiht the key

Hey Kenny, the ORANGE wire is supposed to trigger the starter disable relay. There will be one other wire on that relay that needs a connection ( aside from the two that you have for the starter ). That is why the starter disable is not functioning properly.

well I have the the

purple>starter

green>keyside = BLACK/ white from car harness

red >12v = white

pink > ign = BLACK / YELLOW

pink/white>2nd ign = WHITE/ black

RED / white>12v = white

orange> acc = yellow

now i know all those wire and connection is correct because when i autostart the car everything works fine and no grinding or anything like that runs fine

now there is one more orange wire which is from the H1 harness orange armed output i dont know where that wire goes too

i had it connected to the acc wire in the car but the car wouldnt start with the key and plus its like if the starter kill relay is workin there

now when i unhook that wire the car starts fine with the key and also the starter kill relay dont work

i dont know whats goin on there i checked all of my connections several times even undid the alarm and install it again and same outcome only thing i can think of is a bad relay pack is that possible please i need help asap have to get this car done for saturday morning at 11am
