OK. Here is the deal.  I need a Panasonic CR-SRT100 tuner for my head unit.  Not in production anymore.

So, I do what everyone else would, poke around on Ebay.  Low and behold I find some.  $75+.

Hmm, also there is something call a CR-SRF100 setup, which is a "satellite radio in a bag".  A setup that a truck driver would transfer from rig to rig.  It is a tuner which look identical to the CR-SRT100, plus an antenna, fm modulator cables, and a controller/display.   Well, these whole kits can be had for $40 on Ebay.

QUESTION IS, is the the tuner the same?????  IF so, I am in high cotton because the antenna come with the kit and with a CR-SRT100 it is another $40 extra.

Any ideas???

Yeah, already did a Google search and looked at some of that.  No help.  I was hoping to get a reply from an installer that has had their hands on these units before.

HA!~  Excellent. I will get the "Sirius in a bag" system and save big bucks.

Thanks!
