I have recently tried to installa ProStart remote starter, but my 99 toyoya corolla is equiped with a immobilizer (ie. it wont start unless i press a certain existing button) Is there a way to bypass it. I have looked at the bypass modules, but it is only good for the pass lock and VATS not an immobilizer. Any ideas?

This immobilizer has been added to the vehicle, it was not stock. You will have to find the wires that the immoblizer is tied into and remove them. The Prostart unit has a optional starter disable relay for it that can be wired in in place of the immobilizer.

Thanks, but is there a way to bypass it, because the immobilizer reduces my insurance payments. Its easy to stop it by just unplugging it but i would like to bypass it if i can, if not ill take it out and use the realy that i can buy for it.

This will depend on if it is a multiple point or single point immobilizer. If it is a single point then chances are that it is a starter wire system, thus the starter wire output from the remote start brain needs to be on the vehicle side of this cut starter wire. If this is a multiple point immobilizer then you will have no choice but to remove it and use a starter disable relay with the remote start (should also qualify as a insurance discount as it does the exact same thing without a button).

If the 2nd IGN wire is a (-) trigger then this is for the relay. If it's a (+) output, then connect directly to the 2nd IGN wire on the car.

Yes.   There are two ignition wires for that car. If the wire you are refering to is one of the 6 large wires in the main harness (usually green) that is for the second ignition. That wire is usually selectable through the use of a jumper pin on the back of the module as a 2nd ign., acc., or starter wire. If it has the small jumper, put it in the middle position (default for a new unit)

The unit will have a model#, by the sounds of it, it may be a CT3300. Disconnect the power lock / unlock wires for now. Does the vehicle have a  transponder in the key?
