Adding a glass break sensor to Viper 300ESP

I'm planning to install a Viper 300ESP and I'd like to add a glass break sensor.  I'm assuming I can connect it to the alarm brain's "optional sensor harness".  I'm wondering about operation of the inputs.  The connector has four wires.  The connector uses two multiplex inputs and the brain expects an input of longer than 0.8 seconds to trigger the alarm.  I'm guessing if glass breaks, the noise won't continue for 0.8 seconds.  Will this be a problem?  Does the glass break sensor provide a continuous output if it's triggered?  I would think the connector would be designed to work with a glass break sensor, but the length of the trigger event seems odd.  I'd appreciate any information anyone can give... thanks.

I haven't installed a Viper ES 300 in a while, but what I remember the harness is made for a shock sensor. The alarm just needs to read a pulse. It doesn't matter how long the trigger. The alarm will continue to go off as usual. If you can't connect to the harness you should connect it to the blue wire... Oh... I think you're right about the blue wire.  The 300ESP has a built-in shock sensor, so I doubt that's the purpose of the optional harness, but the blue wire is for an instant trigger sensor.  That makes more sense.  Thanks.
