factory alarm disarm

for cars that uses the keysense wire to disarm the factory alarm, do i use the status output wire or do i use the disarm wire to pulse it?

Use the disarm wire to pulse it. if the alarm you are using does not have a disarm wire just use the unlock wire of the alarm and diode isolate

I assume your probably talking about Toyota's. You need to use the status out. Disarm won't work.

if you are using a dei module and you are talking about disarm for remote start plus during unlock, use the GREEN/ black disarm wire. its a dedicated disarm wire and it will disarm when you remote start, or if you are unlocking the doors. if you are just doing a remote start, you can use the status, or if you are just doing an alarm, the unlock wire will work for that.
