kenwood excelon hu really? u'd put that up with with eclipse??? be careful, u might get a new one ripped for ya. :) I dunno though, i've never given kenwood the time of day. Just something about them, i dont like. I think its the styling. Im not all about the bling bling dolphins and race cars on my hu, but just the lay out on them, just doesnt do them for me. but i wanna check out some reviews on that excelon now. cool.

HEY- SINCE ITS A NEVER-ENDING TOPIC ANYHOW, IM GOING OFF TOPIC

WHO MAKES SOUNDSTREAM ANYMORE ANYWAY? I KNOW THAT ITS A NAMEPLATE THATS CHANGED CORPORATE HANDS SEVERAL TIMES AND WONDERING WHERE THEY ENDED UP.  HOPEFULLY WITH SOMEONE THAT WILL MAINTAIN THE REPUTATION OF THE AMP AND NOT JUST WHORE IT OUT LIKE LANZAR, ORION, AND SO MANY  OTHER "GREATS" OF YESTERYEAR.

AH... TO REMINISCE

MECP certified, 5yrs experience, you probably otta listen bitch!!

OMG CAPS
These are the brands I'd consider when putting together a new system. There are other nice ones out there, probably better ones, but these comprise the ones I've actually had contact with and have been impressed with. They're in no particular order. Also, these brands spread a wide range of models, not all the models are great. They also span a wide range of prices. I've included the brands I consider to give the best value based on what I've heard and seen.
Heads: Eclipse, Nakamichi, Alpine, Clarion
Amps: Eclipse, Memphis, Zapco, Diamond, Xtant, Alpine, MTX
Subs: MTX, Adire, Image Dynamics, Eclipse, JL, Infinity
Components: Diamond, Memphis, Infinity, Mb Quart
New Project: 2003 Pathfinder

No sticky...PLEASE!  If the thread holds its value it'll stay alive.  (As if the mods would consider stickying this topic anyway lol)

Wow, this is easy
Head Units: Nakamichi
Amps: US Amps
Subwoofers: Adire

Anything else? lol
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.
