I am a ASE and VW Master Certified Technician so I think I can take it in a saturday, no?  How many relays will I need to hook up the 425 brain for defrost, door locks and trunk?

The installation took me about 1.5 - 2 hours and this was on a manual version but no trunk releasor rear defrost. No need for relays on the door locks as most remote starter systems give you a (-) output and the Honda uses the (-) as well. The defrost you will need a relay for and the trunk  release solenoid you will also need a relay for.

Try asking that question (or better yet, searching) over on 7thgencivic-- your audience will be a lot more tailored to the question...

I see no factory alarm disarm wire on any list including that from velocity, so I am to assume that this civic has no factory alarm?  Any Ideas?2004 Civic Remote Start - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

Reach up high in the driver's dash and pull down the GREEN plug off a wire loom. If you see it attached to a silver box, then you have OEM security. If it's not attached to anything, then you don't have OEM alarm.
