I also noticed that after I arm the system it gives me 1 error chirp. Could that be because of a bad door pin switch. If they are bad is that something that I can go to a parts store and buy or would a audio shop be the best place to get them.

Did you use diodes when you put on the other sensors. Try and adj the senstive of the shock sensor, also may ahve to relocte it. The error chirp means that a trigger is open. and since your alarm is going off and sensing it a door trigger, im guessing you have bad pin switch. Hopefully you dont have a dome light delay. Open the door kept pushing the
switch in and out and see if the light goes off everytime you do. Does it do it everyday or so offten, finding a interminntent problem can be a pain. Or just pull one out at time and see if it goes away. To get news one go to the dealer ship or auto parts store. I belive they are under $4 each.
With the sensors un hook the ones that you put in and see if you can get warn away chrips.
