The remote starter i have has a negative sign at the end of the second ignition wire.  Does this mean I need to use a relay to power up the second ignition of the truck since i asssume it needs to see positive voltage?  The vehicle is a 2002 silverado 2500HD.

Thanks

If your second ignition wire is testing negative, then yes you need a relay to convert to + to power up the vehicle you are doing.

well i don't have the system hooked up i am just hooking up the wiring right now.  The manual shows a (-)Ignition 2 so I assume that means it puts out a negative and i need a relay?  Correct?
