This was my very first time installing a head unit of any kind, so I am pretty please with the fact that the head unit is entirely funcitonal.  It's a Christmas miracle!  However, the problem I have is that there is a gap of about 1/2" above the unit when the screen is retracted.  I also don't have the lower DIN with anything in it.  As far as the DIN-fillers, do I have to get a specific one to basically add a little holder?  And what do I do about the gap at the top?  Is there a kit I can get to help?  It's in a 97 Eclipse by the way.  Thanks for the help!

sounds like you got the wrong dash kit.    Go back to where you got it and tell them its the wrong one, and have them look up a new one,   there is a metra guide on here that should give you the right code for the metra kit to get
